This Privacy Policy explains how Job Site Pal (“Job Site Pal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Job Site Pal mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password (stored in encrypted form).
Business information you enter. To run your business, you enter data into the Service, which may include:
- Your customers’ names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses
- Job details, notes, scheduling, and status
- Photos you attach to jobs
- Invoices, line items, hours worked, and payment records
- Your team members’ names and account details
Device and usage information. We may collect basic technical information such as app version, device type, and log data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
How we use your information
We use the information to provide and operate the Service — including syncing your data across your devices, generating invoices and PDFs, capturing on-site signatures, supporting your team, and providing customer support. We use technical information to keep the Service secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal information.
Information about your customers
Much of the data you enter is about your own customers. You are responsible for that information and for having a lawful basis to collect and store it. In relation to your customers’ data, you are the data controller and Job Site Pal acts as a processor that stores and processes it on your behalf so you can run your business.
How your data is stored and protected
Your data is stored using reputable cloud infrastructure providers and is encrypted in transit. We restrict access to your data and take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service — for example, with infrastructure and email providers that operate the Service on our behalf — or when required by law, to protect our rights, or with your consent.
Data retention and your controls
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can export all of your data at any time from within the app (Settings → Export all my data). You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us; we will delete it except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise these rights using the in-app export tool or by contacting us at the address below.
Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for use by businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
